Abigail

I have had a few extra ultrasounds because Abby is growing pretty big!  I have come to realize that it is probably due to my recently diagnosed gestational diabetes.  I now have to watch all of my sugar and starch intake and am testing my glucose reading 4 times a day.  I will be seeing a dietician this coming week.  On top of this hurdle I have had some problems with my blood pressure so they continue to monitor me.  Due to these complications I am not returning to work this fall and wont be returning until after maternity leave.  It will take some getting used to.  I really wanted to go back for at least a few weeks to set up. 

On a historical note, at the doctors office on Tuesday we had a earthquake rattle the entire east coast! I did not feel it but people right across the street did!  Also, Hurricane Irene is expected to hit us on Sunday!

Baby Shower

My Mom, Holly and Trish (my mother-in-law) threw me the greatest baby shower!  Many great friends and family came to celebrate.  Marty, Abby and I are very blessed!  In these photos I am 33 weeks.  The beautiful centerpieces were made by Trish.

Sebago

Going to Sebago Lake in Maine has come to be a family tradition that we look forward to every year.  I look forward to bringing Abby next year and for years to come!  I was 30/31 weeks in these photos.
