All new moms have certain items they cannot live without. What it really comes down to is who your baby is and what kind of parent you are. I wanted to make a list of my must haves with Abigail. In no way am I guaranteeing that these will work for someone else's baby or even my next baby. I listened to much advice from other moms about what products to buy when preparing for Abby's arrival. Some were a perfect fit and some were not. I guess its all trial and error as you figure out your little one.
Here is my "favorites" list is in no particular order!!!

2. Gerber Cloth Diapers (as burp cloths)

4. A & D original ointment
5. Sony Baby Call monitor with two receivers. (not a video monitor because I would have been nuts and always checking)
6. A cheap IKEA bug mobile (I hung over her changing table)...
7. Diaper Genie
8. Jeep Liberty Stroller
9. Hyland Teething Tablets
10. Sophie the Giraffe
11. Nose Aspirator that they give you in the hospital. I bought others but they were never as good.
12. Mustela Foam Shampoo for Newborns. Abby never had cradle cap!!!!!
13. A little CD player
14. Putumayo Presents Dreamland World Lullabies and Soothing Songs CD
15. Rainforest Music Natures Lullabies CD by Fisher Price
16. Vasoline or any petroleum jelly
17. Handmade Quilt from Nancy Milligan

Abby got to visit the ocean for the first time yesterday! Marty and I brought her to Scusset Beach at the Cape Cod Canal.
